about us

GO BACK

US Naval Sea Cadet Corps has been committed to providing American youth with an alcohol and drug-free environment to foster their abilities, broaden their horizons through hands on training and guide them to becoming mature young adults since 1958.

The NWS Earle Division was established in November 1967.

Our unit drills on Naval Weapons Station Earle, which is our name sake, located in Colts Neck, New Jersey. NWS Earle Division has two types of Cadets.

We have League Cadets between the ages of 11 and 13 and Sea Cadets between the ages of 13 and 17 (through High School graduation). Our League Cadets drill along side of our Sea Cadets during unit drill, but have separate academic and training evolutions.

We generally drill on the third weekend of each month, but that is subject to change.

Additionally, we participate in several Community Service programs, Color Guard events and assist with various activities which benefit the military here on NWS Earle.

Please check out this website to get a good look at some of the things we do, some of the trainings we offer, the camaraderie we provide and the many benefits of becoming a Sea Cadet or League Cadet of the NWS Earle Division.
